Ultimate Pick-up
Find a field. Start a game. Keep it simple.
Ultimate Pick-up is a lightweight way to discover nearby Ultimate Frisbee pickup games and create public listings for your own games with a simple Apple or Google sign-in.
In iOS version 1.0.3, signed-in free accounts can ask Game Finder by text or on-device voice, compare current nearby listings, and open a selected game in Apple's Calendar editor. Organizer Pro is not required.
Coverage varies by area. The map combines source-backed public pickup listings with games created by local players, and new areas may start empty until a public listing is found or someone creates the first game.
Ask instead of searching
- Ask for the closest game, a weekend game, or a time that fits your schedule.
- Get answers grounded in current Ultimate Pick-up listings, with source links and distance.
- Choose a result and review its time and location before saving it to Calendar.
- Speak privately: audio stays on the device and only the transcript is submitted.
Built for pickup organizers
- Create one-time or weekly recurring pickup game listings.
- Share public game pages with field notes, time, location, and map directions.
- Sign in with the same account to update or cancel games you created.
Useful for players
Players can browse nearby games, open directions, share a game link, and mark themselves as interested or going. The flow is intentionally direct so the page gets people from discovery to the field quickly.
Low-friction by design
Ultimate Pick-up keeps the core pickup workflow direct: public game discovery, grounded Game Finder answers, simple creation, and lightweight participation. Browsing, reactions, and website chat stay open; a free account is required only for pickup creation and other account-owned features. It does not include public profiles, followers, direct messages, or social feeds.
